LISTEN (Free Face-to-Face Consultation)

Our collaborative partnership starts with understanding you and your home-life goals. We will listen actively, then lay out the Axis process that will guide us through the design and build of your project.

DESIGN (Develop the Project Package)

The design development process forms the project package, encompassing all necessary elements for accurate execution. With our Axis 5-Step Development Process, we prioritize transparency and collaboration, allowing for early adjustments to achieve the optimal balance of beauty and function within your investment.

The Axis 5-Step Development Process:
  1. Site Intake
    • Site Visit Meeting at project location.
      • Client Survey: Project Development Team introductions and clarified project parameters
      • Existing Conditions Documentation: Current layout, measurements, utility locations, pictures, etc.
  2. Schematic Project Package Presentation
    • Presentation of proposed schematic design, scope of work, and preliminary investment range
      • Proposed preliminary plan/scope of work – floor plan, conceptual renderings, scope of work.
      • Proposed investment range discussion: Preliminary cost estimate with inclusions, exclusions, volatile costs, and items of significance
  3. Client Feedback Meeting
    • Meeting for client feedback regarding design, scope of work, and investment range
      • Client Feedback from Step 2 meeting: Design, scope, and cost estimate
      • Collaboration process: Options, changes, items to investigate, updated directives
      • Clarified expectations for the remaining development process: Design, scope, selections, total investment amount
  4. Detailed Project Package Presentation
    • Presentation of a detailed plan, scope, and cost estimate
      • Detailed layout, renderings, dimensions, and printed plan sets
      • Detailed budget review budget range presentation
  5. Finalization
    • Process to move project from Design Phase to Build Phase
      • Handoff to Construction process:
        ▪ Integrate Axis Field Team
        ▪ Finalize construction plans, selections of materials, fixtures, and finishes
        ▪ Construction contract
        ▪ Order long lead time items
        ▪ Produce construction schedule
        ▪ Clarify site logistics
